First off, in case you missed the news on my social channels, I stepped into a new role at the end of November at Digital Commerce 360 as Director of Editorial, Retail. It’s been a light-speed past few weeks getting into the flow with the outstanding team of journalists and researchers there. If you don’t know the brand already, it’s a B2B media company with some outstanding data, reports, and news operations covering retail and ecommerce. The whole team there has been in the thick of it covering holiday shopping results, and I’ve been fortunate enough to contribute a few bylines myself since I arrived, covering holiday shipping deadlines, online shopping traffic, Ikea’s recent announcements, and the startup Kognitos.

Bottom line: It’s a wonderful, richly experienced group of colleagues to be joining, and we’ve got an exciting year ahead.

Meanwhile, the podcast is still going strong, and my co-host Sarah and I just released a new episode Sunday morning. You can listen to us get into the latest news about OpenAI and Axel Springer before we interview Kurt Bollacker of MLCommons right here on AIArtifacts.net.
